Programme
Each programme is unique and focuses on a different talent.
In the 2024-2025 season, the following three programmes are available for you to discover: PERFORMANCE | DJ’ING | STORYBUILDING
Each programme follows a route of its own – find out more about your favourite one below.
PERFORMANCE
TIMING
- Send Claudia a text message (SMS) or WhatsApp message by April 25.
- Claudia will send you a small questionnaire and additional information.
- The group will be formed and contacted by the last week of April at the latest.
- The residency week will take place from May 26 to May 30. We will also have two extra rehearsals, which we will schedule with the group.
- The final event will take place during the Visueel Festival Visuel on 29 June 2025.
COACHING
Professional artists/coaches will support and inspire you during the course of this programme.
PARTNERS
GC De Kroon itself has extensive experience in hosting street performances. To give you extra support, they will also be relying on the expertise of Zinnema, Kunstenwerkplaats, Circus Zonder Handen, Boomclap Nation, Danscentrum Jette and JH De Kuub.
PROCESS
During the performance programme, you will work with coaches and with people your own age to create a performance that will be shown at the Visual Festival Visuel on 29 June 2025.
DJ’ING
TIMING
- Send Brent a text message (SMS) or WhatsApp message by 6 October.
- Brent will contact you with more info and invite you to an initial workshop.
- All the dates for the programme will then be worked out together.
- In addition to these meetings, you will have space to practise individually and learn new styles.
COACHING
Professional artists/coaches will support and inspire you during the course of this programme.
PARTNERS
To provide you with extra support, GC Essegem is collaborating with Entree, Jeugdhuis De Branding, GC De Vaartkapoen, 96, and BRUZZ ICE.
PROCESS
During the DJ project, you will work together on a project and present it at an event that you will organize yourselves.
STORYBUILDING
